LapMonitor

I would love to add Lap Monitor support - unfortunately Lap Monitor does not provide and API docs on how it works. I have spoken to another timing application and they have the same issue. I was tempted to get one to experiment with but they are a bit out of the budget 😅

that is a shame. if you look on their website, there is a .exe you can download that will let the decice connect to a pc and translates it to mylaps (i believe). Could that help?

I have seen that executable - unfortunately because this is webbased I cannot connect to a PC app (Browser Security restrictions). I may look into creating a shim that goes to RC-Clubs... I'll have a look but there is a range of latency issues that may be a problem :(

What a shame. Would you sat the new SkyRc LapWiz would be in the same boat?

Re: Lapwiz: I don't know? I have reached out to them to ask if there is an API - I have not heard back yet. I am hoping to get one when they are released here to test with as they are significantly cheaper here than LapMonitor (1/3 of te price I think).

Most clubs I work with are using Easylaps. The setup is more expensive but the transponders are cheap ($20 on AliExpress)

yes i do have one. Not sure Easylaps have anything to suit outdoor offroad? Not really looked into them. LapMonitor is cheap.
